# Announcement on LKY halving
Dear miners,
LKY will be halved at block height 300,000. After the halving, the LKY reward per block will be reduced from 22 LKY to 11 LKY. The estimated halving time is February 10, 2025 (HKT).
Your mining income will be affected at that time, please be aware!
